drip

Piercing hard on my naked skin
Like needles carved out of ice,
Or like the penetrating, heart-melting
Stares of your God-made eyes.

Black water oozes through to my heart
Inside the cavern, an ancient pain thrives
I look up, tightly closing my eyes
Being afraid to death, of the celestial knives

Running a burning sensation down your cheeks
Hot tears in the cold rain, you can't hide
I repent, I despise, I curse the shower
Can't see you anymore, by my side

The sky shines like an apocalypse
Or the blood colour of my eyes
Corroding, shivering, brazen under the heaven
I stand, clutching, cherishing my own demise
